At Doctors Information BD, customer satisfaction is our priority. This policy outlines the terms for returns and refunds.
1. Return Eligibility
Products may be returned within 14 days of delivery if:
* The product is defective or damaged upon receipt
* Wrong product was delivered
* Product does not match the description on our website
* Product is unopened and in original packaging (for hygiene-sensitive items)
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for health and safety reasons:
* Opened medical devices that come in contact with the body
* Prescription medications
* Personal care items that have been opened
* Custom-ordered or personalized medical equipment
* Perishable goods
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:
1. Contact our customer service within 14 days of delivery
2. Provide your order number and reason for return
3. Await approval and return shipping instructions
4. Pack the product securely in original packaging
5. Ship the product using our provided instructions
4. Refund Process
* Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned product
* Inspection of returned items will be conducted before refund approval
* Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
* Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
5. Exchanges
* Exchanges are available for defective or damaged products
* Size/model exchanges subject to product availability
* Contact customer service to arrange an exchange
* Shipping costs for exchanges may apply
6. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product:
* Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
* Provide photos of the damage/defect
* Keep all packaging materials
* We will arrange for free return shipping and full refund or replacement
7. Cancellation Policy
Product Orders:
* Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement
* No cancellation fee for orders not yet shipped
* Partial refunds may apply for shipped orders
Medical Tourism Services:
* Cancellation fees vary based on timing and services booked
* More than 30 days before appointment: 90% refund
* 15-30 days before appointment: 50% refund
* Less than 15 days: Non-refundable
* Emergency medical situations considered on case-by-case basis
8. Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 15% may apply to returns of:
* Large medical equipment
* Special order items
* Products returned without original packaging
